This is the first shot, which takes place in the garden of the really expensive house with the house in the background. The shot would start with a shot of the clear blue sky where is where the title would appear then after the text has faded out the camera would tilt down looking over the garden with the house in the background, there we would see the expensive house and the actress playing the singer (Mila J), she would be wearing expensive clothes and would have a dog with her which looks expensive and besides her there would be several strong topless men that looks like a model, as she raps to the camera. The point of this shot is to show that she can afford an expensive house, she has expensive pets and of course to make fun of all the women not wearing a lot in the stereotypical male rap music videos we have the topless men to show that she can get the most attractive men. A crane shot would be used to film this shot and would be going up and down because this is what is normally done in rap music video’s. A video which helps portray my vision for this shot is Taylor Swift's music video for the song "Blank Space" which can be see bellow (SKIP TO 0:47):
The next shot is the one which takes place in a ware house with a lot of expensive cars. This shot will be in a ware house as to show that she doesn't even have enough room in her house to keep all her cars so she has to keep them in a warehouse. The shot would be taking place in front of two expensive cars with the boys posing in side and onto of the cars as she is rapping to the camera. This shot would also be shot on a crane which goes up and down because it adds to the rap music video look of the video. This shot once again shows that she has a lot of money and that her boys like that and are playing with the cars, once again this shot would be laced with a few slow-motion shots of the boys in the cars acting “sexy”. My inspiration for this shot was the music video for Pia Mia’s song Mr. President where she poses in front of expensive cars in a warehouse, the video can be seen bellow (SKIP TO 1:59):
My third music video idea is for the song “My Main”by the artist Mila J who can be seen in the photo above,she is also known as Japollonia and Karate ChopHer. Her birth name is Jamila Akiko Aba Chilombo, she hails from Los Angeles, California in the United states. To date Mila has released 6 projects including 3 mixtapes and 3 studio albums, her albums, their release dates and the label they were released by is as follows: Split Personality - (2006) - No Label; M.I.L.A - (2014) - Motown Records (Label); TBA - (2015) - Motown Records (Label). The song I chose which is “My Main” was actually on none of these albums and was simply a single that she released in 2014. Mili J is artist who’s genre could be described as Hip-Hop/R&B, she is currently signed to the Motown Records music label. Mila J has mostly been a quite unknown artist but has recently been getting more popular because of the recent massive success of his sister Jhene Aiko, since then she has gotten a lot of big artists wanting to collaborate with her for example Ty DollaSign on the song “My Main” or Future on the song “Freaknic”; This has allowed Mila to come more in the spotlight and grow in popularity. Other artists are people like Jhene Aiko, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna.

Mila J’s R&B single “My Main” was released on September 30th, 2014 and was a single off her E.P M.I.L.A (Made.In.Los.Angeles). The song was produced by Dj Mustar, which is a notorious west coast producer who has created huge hits for artists such as YG, 2 Chains and Ty DollaSign who coincidentally features on Mila J’s song my main, Ty DollaSign is an American Hip-Hop and R&B artist from Los Angeles, California; But I want to make an edit of My Main which does not include Ty DollaSign’s feature because of the explicitness of his lyrics in the song. My Main is 3 minutes and 33 seconds in length, the song is embedded bellow:
My concept for the music video: My idea for this music video is a female rapper doing everything that male rappers do in there music videos, without making to comedic. I want to play with the whole flashy phased that rap video stereotypically have, for example rapping about, women, money and cars. The music video will have no story line like the stereotypical rap videos i was talking about dont have one either, it is more about showing off in front of the camera. To try and convey this image the music video will be split into 5 different locations, one of them will be in the garden of a big expensive house with the house itself in the background, the next shot will be in a pool, the shot after that would be in a ware house with expensive cars, the next shots takes place on the road as the singer is in the passenger seat of one of the cars as it is being driven around, the next shot takes place in the living room of an expensive house, these 5 shots would alternate throughout the video. Bellow I will explain each of the 5 different shots. My main inspiration for this music video is the music video for the song, Girl In A Country Song by Maddie & Tae which can be seen bellow (SKIP TO 0:57):

The next shot would be a shot over a big swimming pool, it would be filmed with a crane from straight over the pool, in the pool would be the singer who would on an inflatable which she is lying on in the pool with an expensive swimming suit on and a cocktail in her hand as she is rapping up to the camera and in the pool would be all the boys which she had in the first shot. This is to show that she is more important than all the boys in the people because she doesn't get wet and she is drinking her refreshing dink whilst the boys have to get wet. Along with this shot there would be several slow-motion shots of the boys in and coming out of the pool in slow-motion with the water dripping of there abs etc. to poke fun of what they do with women in rap videos. The two music videos who were my inspiration for this shot are firstly Ayo by Chris Brown and Tyga, and Pop That by French Montana which can both be seen bellow (SKIP TO 0:46):

The next shot is the one which takes place in the car, this shot would be filming thee actress in the passenger seat of one of the expensive cars as she is rapping, this is to add a “complex” and “high budget” shot to the music video which will impress the audience and it also makes it look like she can afford a high budget music video. The shot would probably be shot from the back of another car looking through the windshield of the car she is in. Once again having her ride in an expensive car add’s to the making fun of the stereotypical rap video’s but also lets her audience and other people that she is successful and that her music is doing well if she can afford this car. My inspiration for this shot comes for the music video for the song “Do It Again” by the artist Pia Mia along with Chris Brown and Tyga which can be seen bellow (SKIP TO 0:25):
As for how I think the singer would look like and be dressed, I imagine her being about 17-18 because that is the age of the students at our school, she also has to look pretty because that will be more appealing to the audience and it will be incentive for them to watch the music video.
