Story Board
This is my storyboard which I made for our thriller, it is the basics of the shots we need to get done on our shoot day. We have not included the several shots from different angles we will need to take apart from the main shots, I have drawn the 12 mane shots which define our thriller. On each individual drawn shot on the storyboard I have included the duration of each of the main shots, the duration is measured in seconds (for example 6 seconds). Also included is the shot size of each shot, for example LS (Long Shot), CU (Close Up), ECU (Extreme Close Up), all of the shots on the story board are marked as wide shots because we would be able to film everything which is happening, and then we would shoot the smaller shots for example BCU’s (Big Close Up’s). Also included on the story board is the audio which will be in each shot, most of the sounds are diegetic sounds, such as the sound of someone typing on a keyboard or the sound of lock being picked. The last thing which is mentioned on each story board frame is the transition between each shot, the most frequent transition is a straight cut, but there are also transitions such as fade to black’s.
